Includes the structure of tonality, triads and their inversion, part writing, non-harmonic tones, phrase structure, cadences, harmonic progressions, and harmon- ization techniques. All topics reinforced with systematic analysis and practical application. To be taken concurrently with MUSC 1045. Prerequisite: MUSC 1030 and 1035 or equivalent. (3 lect.) HUM
